Madrid in Danza

It's almost time for Madrid to welcome another edition of Madrid en Danza, its annual international dance festival, which is now in its 26th year. This year's edition will feature 25 productions from ten countries, including Japan, Mexico and the UK, as well as performances by Spanish dancers. Some of the highlights of this year's programme include the curious Paradise in a Jar Odyssey 2001, a take on Stanley Kubrick's Space Odessey and The Odyssey by Homer set to traditional butoh dance; and more traditional performances such as Poppea/Poppea and New Work, which are based on classical operas and dances.

You can also buy a 'show only' ticket which includes a drink: water, soft drink, beer or wine or a cocktail/long drink but does not include the meal.

Corteo- Cirque du Soleil make a return to Madrid

The world famous Cirque du Soleil will be making return to Madrid to present a new production, Corteo. It promises to be a very lively and colourful performance with lots of comedy, presented in the style of a carnival parade seen through the eyes of a clown. The show will run from 2nd April until 5th June at the Escenario Puerta de Ángel, and ticket prices range from 40€-199€ with cheaper rates for kids.
